| From first contact to successful candidate
placement, DPSC maintains the closest of relationships
with the client. As a result we have long relationships
with our clients, some of well over ten years.
We make a point of spending all the time necessary
with new clients to understand in detail the client's
business, goals, requirements and the background to
these requirements. We make a point of discussing in
full with all interested parties the environment, dynamics
and business plan that have led to the need to recruit.
With the client we produce a detailed job description,
a comprehensive brochure to promote the opportunity
to prospective candidates and a target list of companies
from which the candidates should be sought. Our research
department then uses this information to identify a
long list of suitable candidates. In conjunction with
the search consultant the research department interviews
them on the telephone and compiles a preliminary shortlist.
The consultant interviews candidates on this list face
to face, produces a final shortlist with a detailed
report on each candidate and provides the list to the
client. Finally, the client interviews candidates on
the shortlist, chooses one and issues an offer letter.
DPSC provides feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
Both clients and candidates are important to us and
we keep both fully informed during the whole process
of a search. We welcome unsolicited CVs from candidates,
acknowledge them on receipt and we make a point of keeping
them up to date and under review. Many of our candidates
become our clients.
